Wake your phone and your current task is right there with a progress ring. One tap completes it, and the next task slides in. NowTodo is a free iPhone app made by Soravo, a one-person iOS studio in South Korea.

Your Lock Screen is the app
- A Live Activity shows your current task and a progress ring. Complete or defer it without unlocking.
- The same task at a glance in the Dynamic Island.
- Home and Lock Screen widgets, plus Control Center buttons.
1-second capture
- Add tasks with the Action Button, Back Tap, Control Center or Siri, without opening the app.
- Natural-language dates. Type "report by Friday" and the date is set.
Focused on today
- Shows the one task to do right now instead of a wall of lists.
- Defer by an hour, to this evening, tomorrow or next week.
- Repeating tasks, reminders, a weekly and monthly calendar, and search across everything.
Together (beta)
- Share to-dos with a partner, roommates or family, with a separate space for each group.
- Join by opening an invite link. There is no sign-up; it runs on iCloud.
- See who completed what in real time.
Progress you can feel
- Streaks, a weekly chart, and 30-day and priority stats.
- Five theme colors restyle the app, widgets and the Lock Screen ring together.
Your data stays yours
- Every feature is free and no account is needed.
- Personal tasks are stored on your iPhone. Shared spaces sync through your own iCloud.
- Included in iCloud backups, with JSON export and import.
What's new
Version 1.5.9 · August 17, 2026
- The calendar widget shows task titles instead of dots.
- Delete a repeating task from a chosen date onward. Earlier entries stay.
- Edit just one occurrence, or apply the change to all future ones.
- Setting a time now sets the reminder to match.
- After midnight, the Lock Screen card moves on to the new day.

Made by Soravo, a studio of one.
NowTodo is designed, built and maintained by Seungwoo Kim at Soravo, a one-person iOS studio founded in July 2026 and based in South Korea. The app is built with Claude Code, Anthropic's agentic coding tool, which is how a single developer took the app from 1.0 to version 1.5.9 within six weeks of launch.
Next on the roadmap: turning a messy voice note into dated, prioritized tasks with the Claude API. Prompt tests started in October 2026.
